8 months on from our wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns and the one thing that stands out time and time again is just how incredible the entire Jenkinsons team were. Choosing your wedding food is such a huge decision because it’s one of the things guests always remember. We were pleasantly surprised that we could have exactly the menu we wanted without an outrageous price tag. At other venues, to stay within budget we would have had to pick dishes that my husband and I didn’t even like, which obviously didn’t feel right. Even now our friends and family are still talking about how good the food was on the day.

Megan from Jenkisons was absolutely amazing in the lead up. From our very first phone call, she was so helpful, organised, and reassuring, nothing was ever too much trouble and she made the entire process feel seamless and stress free. On the day, the rest of the Jenkinsons team carried that same level of excellence. A special mention to Jack (who usually works at Dodford Manor) who looked after us on the day. He was absolutely brilliant, so friendly, attentive and thoughtful. Even little things like holding off on bringing out our food when we’d wandered from the table didn’t go unnoticed. Jack and Travis, who were on the bar in the evening, were fantastic. So many of our guests made a point to tell us how great they were, energetic, fun and lovely to chat to. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even down to offering to mix and make an elderflower tonic when I asked for it! It’s those thoughtful little things that really stood out.

Every member of the Jenkinsons team was amazing. Everything flowed seamlessly and the way the staff adapted on the spot, like when our daughter wanted to sit with us at the sweetheart table and her meal was brought over without hesitation, was just brilliant. Our drinks were perfect, exactly what we wanted and everything was carried out with genuine care and big smiles. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful and professional the team were, everyone was a true credit to Jenkinsons. And the food… wow. Where do we even begin? We had high hopes for the menu we chose, but it far exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely incredible. We had so many compliments, everything was cooked and presented to perfection and it’s so clear the chefs are incredibly talented and passionate about what they do. To the whole team, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, those we met and those working behind the scenes, you helped make our day what it was. We had the most wonderful experience at The West Mill, Darley Abbey for our wedding. Charlotte and Adam looked after us perfectly from start to finish. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Every detail was taken care of and the day ran seamlessly. Everything was truly faultless. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a more dedicated team. Highly recommended

We got married at The Ashes on 10th December and just wanted to say a huge thank you for the incredible food on our wedding day 🤍 Everything was absolutely delicious and served so promptly, which helped the day run so smoothly.

So many of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and commenting on how amazing it was, which meant so much to us. The service was fantastic and really added to making our day so special.

We had our wedding at Dodford Manor on the 3rd of October and both me and my husband Tom can’t thank you and the team enough !!

The staff were brilliant from Megan on the build up to the team who dealt with us on the day! They were all so attentive and the food was exceptional.. everyone said so, so much so people are still talking about it!!

We had quite a few people with allergens but every single one of them was catered for! No one was left out!

We are still in an absolute bubble of how incredible our day(s) were, we truly can’t believe how perfect everything was.

Hosting our celebration at the West Mill was everything we imagined and more. Everything was so seamless from start to finish, throughout the planning process to the day itself.

Everyone had so much fun and we cannot thank you enough. Charlotte was so incredible and helpful throughout, and my mum is still talking about how lovely she was!

All the rest of the team were fantastic also, Alex in particular was so attentive and professional.

The food and service from yourselves on our big day was incredible! We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Megan, you were fantastic in the lead up to the wedding, a true asset to the company, making sure we had everything ordered correctly and always only an email away, responding swiftly. To the chefs and waiting staff on the day, you were fantastic. The guests all commented on the wonderful food and how you managed to have all 110 guests served and eating at the same time! Drinks flowed throughout and there was never an empty glass! Your staff all had smiles on their faces and nothing was too much trouble for them. Just an A star service!

OMG the food was incredible!! The staff were amazing, I can’t thank them enough for how hard they worked. My GF friends Jack & Eloise are still talking about the massive plate of food they had in the evening, they said they’ve never eaten so well.

Everything was absolutely stunning- the taste and the presentation. Everything went perfectly, your attention to detail on things such as my Mom’s meal was spot on. The serving staff were so polite and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more!

We had so many comments from our daytime guests about how amazing the food was. One guest said it was hands down the best food they had ever had at a wedding!

The evening food was also really popular and we had a lot of comments on both the pizza and wedges!

We had such a wonderful day and loved every moment, the food being a very important part of the day, so just to say thank you again.

We were absolutely blown away by the quality of food and service provided by Jenkinsons for our wedding. The wedding breakfast meal service was seamless and the food was truly delicious. So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food, especially the beef which just melted in your mouth! One of our guests said that they had never tasted roast potatoes like it!
From start to finish Jenkinsons service was outstanding, particularly Sarah who was so kind and helpful throughout the planning process, nothing was too much trouble for her.
Denis and I would highly recommend Jenkinsons to anyone who is getting married or hosting an event.

It couldn’t have gone any smoother. The timings. Planning. Staff. Food. Everything just ran like clockwork, and we didn’t once have to worry about anything at all.
The food was gorgeous and many guests commented on it, along with saying how professional and ‘on it’ all of the staff were, so please pass our thanks on to everyone involved.
It literally couldn’t have been any better.

The staff on the day were amazing, super helpful and professional. The food, wow the food. When I say it was incredible I mean it was INCREDIBLE! We were worried that portions may be small but gosh how wrong were we, the portions were amazing and the food was amazing. We went for the BBQ grazing sharers and every single item on that board was divine I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. For the evening we had fish and chips and I heard they were great too!

The food was unbelievable. We love food so we wanted to really enjoy our wedding meal, and we were not disappointed. Adam, who managed the catering team, was very kind and helpful and took care of everything – multiple guests mentioned how everything was on time and there were no long stretches with nothing to do, just a seamless day of celebration.
Our wedding at the River Mill was a dream. Thank you to the whole team!

I just wanted to send an email to say a massive thank you for the catering at our wedding. We were so pleased with the food and it’s something eveyone has fed back to us! Even some of our friends who are fussy eaters and don’t usually eat much at weddings said how amazing it was! The best food at a wedding they’ve had was another comment we got a lot! We couldn’t believe the size of the beef wellington, thinking it was only the top table that had big slabs of beef but turns out everyone did. Really really pleased. The service was perfect and we were over the moon with it all! It turned out we actually knew the chef on as well, Trevor, so please pass on our sincere thanks to all.

Everyone was perfectly catered for and all our dietary guests were so surprised how amazing the food tasted given their requirements as usually the food for them doesn’t taste that good (their words).

They didn’t let us pour a single drink for ourselves and made sure we had everything we could have wanted or needed. 

Everyone kept saying how much of a ‘well oiled machine’ it was, ALL the staff front & back.

The food – oh my god the food was delicious. I’ve heard many horror stories of a dry bit a chicken and watery gravy as a wedding meal, but this blew us all away. Please give our thanks to the chefs. I’ve had so many messages saying how amazing the food was. Beautiful. As a vegetarian myself it can sometimes be a bit disappointing but wow that was far from it. Simply amazing.

Sunday was the best day of our lives!

I’d be surprised if a few future weddings don’t come their way! Mill Barns and Jenkinsons Catering went above and beyond and surpassed all of our perfect wedding expectations!

Sorry we didn’t get a chance to say thank you before we left, we really appreciated you asking the chef to make our blondie pudding. I just wanted to say that Matt and I were very impressed with all the food, especially the blondie; it tasted amazing.
